Wildcatdojo Conversations
Karate is for everyone. So, join us each week for a 20 to 25 minute conversation on all types of subjects. We go from managing the distractions of daily life, through martial arts history and people, and common sense concepts to add to your self defense armor. Plus we have interviews and so much more. After spending over 40 years discussing life's challenges in a dojo, (both as a student and as a teacher) I decided it would be fun to share the conversations with everyone. And it is! We're having a great time with our guests each week thinking, talking and very importantly sharing a laugh or two along the way.

A Fun Interview with Elba "Cookie" Melendez
One of the great parts of recording this podcast is the amazing people we meet. Hanshi Melendez is a perfect example. She was So much fun to talk with. We met her through Hanshi Seymour. Jic you missed Hanshi Seymour's interview back in January, here it is:
https://www.buzzsprout.com/477379/episodes/16424997
In the beginning of the show, we say that we're going to hear about her time competing in Madison Square Garden. Oops, we didn't get to it! I guess we'll have to have her on the show again. Yay!
Btw - if you're a karateka and want to share your stories - get in touch. And if you like the show, and have a couple of extra bucks - please support our work. (I know with all the laughter you're thinking "What work?") But it is there - behind the scenes - and your help is appreciated! Thanks
Thanks so much for listening and sharing the podcast with friends. Reach us all over the web. Facebook and twitter are simply wildcatdojo. However, insta is wildcatdojo conversations. (There's a story there.)
